The UAE has the perfect climate and conditions for sailing, warm water and good winds. So if you have ever considered hitting the high seas, now is your opportunity.
The basic skills can be learnt very quickly, all students are able to sail by themselves within the first lesson. This creates a great sense of independence and achievement. It is probably the first time for most children that they are total self reliant and responsible for their own craft.

The Aims of the Sailing Department

1) Promote sailing to all age groups of Emirates nationals

2) Train national to become competent sailors

3) Train nationals to a standard that they can compete in National and International events

4) Train nationals to a level which they can join the ESS staff and train the future sailors

5) Introduce an Emirates sailing scheme, which will provide all sailing schools in the UAE with a syllabus and safety guidelines. This will enable students to progress through an award scheme.
